What we collect. We may collect the following information:
- name and job title
- company name
- contact information including email address and billing address
- demographic information such as postal code, preferences and interests
- other information relevant to Client surveys and/or offers
- payment information
What we do with the information we gather. We require specific information to understand the needs of Centergistix’s Clients and to provide Centergistix’s Clients with better service, and for the following specific reasons:
- Internal record keeping.
- Centergistix may use the information to improve its products and services.
- Centergistix may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think its Clients may find interesting using the email address which the Client has provided.
- From time to time, Centergistix may also use Client information to contact Centergistix’s Clients for market research purposes. Centergistix may contact its Clients by email, phone, or mail.
- Centergistix may use the information to customize the website according to the interests of its Clients.
- Centergistix will not share this information with any third parties without first obtaining the Client’s consent.
Security Centergistix takes information security very seriously and uses reasonable administrative, technical and managerial measures to protect Client’s personal information from unauthorized access. For example, Centergistix utilizes Secure Sockets Layering, an industry-standard protocol of Centergistix’s Clients transmissions to Centergistix, in order to encrypt the personal information that a Client sends to us through the registration and sign up process. Centergistix stores Client’s email address and payment information in an encrypted form.
Each Client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its account login ID and password information and for restricting access to any computer or mobile device through which the Client accesses their Centergistix account. Users of public or shared computers or unprotected mobile devices should log out at the completion of each visit to the Centergistix Web site.
Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent (100%) secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of any Client’s personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. By using the Service, or providing personal information to Centergistix through any means, the Client agrees that Centergistix can communicate with the Client electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to the Client’s use of this site.
Centergistix uses traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve Centergistix’s website in order to tailor it to Client needs. Centergistix only uses this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies can help Centergistix provide Centergistix’s Clients with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages Centergistix’s Clients find useful and which Centergistix’s Clients do not. A cookie in no way gives Centergistix access to Centergistix’s Clients computer or any information about Centergistix’s Clients, other than the data Centergistix’s Clients choose to share with us.
A Client can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but Client can usually modify Client’s browser setting to decline cookies if Client prefers. This may prevent Client from taking full advantage of the website.
Disclosure of Personal Information. Except as otherwise disclosed to Client, Centergistix will not sell, rent or disclose Client’s personal information to third parties without notifying Client of Centergistix’s intent to share the personal information in advance and give Client an opportunity to prevent Client’s personal information from being shared.
Centergistix may use other companies, agents or contractors to perform services on Centergistix’s behalf. For example, Centergistix has partnered with other companies to personalize and optimize Centergistix’s web pages, process credit card transactions, collect debts, analyze and enhance data, including Clients’ interaction with Centergistix’s site and process consumer surveys. In the course of providing such services, these other companies may have access to Client’s personal information. These companies are not permitted to use Client’s personal information except for the purpose of providing the services we request of them.
From time to time, we may partner with companies whose products we believe will interest Centergistix’s users. In conjunction with these partners, we may send promotional announcements and/or serve web-based advertisements to Centergistix’s Clients on their behalf. Client can go to the Email Subscriptions page under Client’s account login ID and request that Client’s name be excluded from these mailings for Centergistix’s marketing partners. In addition, we may offer joint promotions or programs that, in order for participation, will require personal information be shared with third parties. In such instances, Client will be provided with notice of the sharing prior to Client’s decision to participate.
Changes to This Policy. As Centergistix updates and expands its services, Centergistix reserves the right to make changes to this policy. Clients should check back for updates to this policy from time to time. If the changes result in materially less protection for Client’s personal information than that provided in this policy, Centergistix will make reasonable efforts to inform its Clients and obtain Client’s consent to the changes. Like Centergistix’s Terms of Service, of which this policy is a part, Client’s use of the Centergistix’s website or continued use of Centergistix’s service after Client has been informed of any changes means that Client agrees to be bound by such changes.
